The purpose of this research is to study the mechanical properties of polypropylene that is reinforced with wood minutes (reed), and the enhance in some of mechanical properties by treating with silane coupling agent also the effect of adding magnesium oxide and zinc stearate, The results showed that the surface hardness values of polypropylene before and after reinforced its range (62-75), this shows an increase in the hardness values with the addition of the reinforcement material. Also for the impact strength, results range (9.46-13.28) kj/m2, while wear rate from 5.83*10-8gm/cm to 5.15*10-9 gm/cm as well as for tensile test the maximum tensile strength value about (28.29) Mpa, while for the creep test the value of strain about (0.427). From results, notice that all mechanical properties have been improved.
