The LC filter is an essential component in inverters. It helps that the output voltage retains the desired fundamental component and eliminates the converter’s high-order harmonic component. It isn’t easy to accurately measure the current through the inductor and capacitor because it includes different harmonic components. This paper proposes a method to estimate the current through the capacitor of an LC filter by using a neural network from which it can be accurately determined to control. A model is built in Matlab/Simulink software to verify the correctness of the method.
