The quality of peanuts is very difficult to control so that the taste quality can be maintained properly, this is often found in SMEs. For this reason, it is necessary to sort out the peanuts that are suitable for consumption with good quality and taste. The purpose of this research is to design and manufacture a prototype unit of peanut sorting machine using Arduino Uno microcontroller. The difference in the color of peanut shells is variable in determining the quality of peanuts, using the TDS 230 color sensor, the skin color of peanuts is categorized into three criteria, namely a light yellow color, it will detect it as a young peanut and if it is detected with a light brown color it will detect an old peanut and if it is detected with a light brown color, it will detect an old bean If the skin has a blackish skin color, it will be detected as rotten peanuts. The stages of the research are design and manufacture following the criteria required by SNI number 01-3921-1995 and SNI number 01-4301-1996. The results of the research have designed a peanut sorting machine in two and three dimensions. The test results show that the peanut sorting machine has been able to sort the skin color of peanuts into three types, namely old peanuts, young peanuts and rotten peanuts.
