Model Study and Case Analysis Concerning Community Culture
Identity Responding to Tourism Development

ABSTRACT: Community culture identity is a multi-dimensional dynamic structure system, and it may be influenced by economy, culture, internal environment and other factors. Measuring model concerning community culture identity is built through study on influences of tourism development which is strenuous cultural rebuilding activity within a short time in local area on cultural identity status, and further such system is explained. It is found that community culture change under the background of tourism development is just the key factor for influence on community culture identity, and tourism culture itself is generated under the interaction between foreign culture and local culture, accordingly, culture identity of local residents in the community where is developed for tourism under the influences is to be rebuilt. Based on such study model, empirical investigation has been conducted in combination with culture identity status of Ancient Dongchang Community which is under tourism development, and qualitative analysis is conducted according to such case.
