ABSTRACT: The remote control system benefits from the application of virtual reality technology. Augmented reality technology is the extension of virtual reality technology. It adds the computer-generated virtual objects into the real world within in users’ perception. This paper proposes a remote control system of robot based on augmented reality, elaborates its structure and key technologies, and proposes the improved algorithm of collision-free trajectory planning based on velocity vector field. This paper also makes experiments of efficient safe avoidance of static and dynamic obstacles. The results prove that the proposed system enhances the human-computer interaction effectively, and improves the accuracy of remote control.
