ABSTRACT: It is so importment factor that the resistance breeding to minimize the losses caused by common smut. In our study, 8 CSILs have different chromosome segments of donor maize HB522 respectively. There are 4 kinds of varieties in 8 CSILs expressing highly resistance to common smut. Chr3-7’s grain yield is highest among other seven CSILs and two parents. chr3-7 is good SSILs for resistance to common smut study and resistance breeding.
