Dynamic Correction SOC Estimation Method Based on Real Vehicle Analysis Battery Characteristics

ABSTRACT: SOC estimation of one of the key technologies for the development of new energy electric vehicle battery management system (BMS). Based on deficiencies and limitations of existing methods, suitable for engineering SOC estimation method is proposed. This method combines Ah integration method and EMF method with weighting factor. According to battery characteristics, dynamically adjusting the weighting factor strategy is used. This strategy can overcomes the disadvantage of divergence of Ah integral method, and can improve the accuracy of the estimated SOC. The effectiveness, practicality and feasibility are verified by real vehicle test.
