ABSTRACT: Metallurgy is a leading branch of industry and cannot neglect the requirements dictated by the modern market. In most cases now, the domestic companies lose to their foreign competitors in the struggle for the customer. The main disadvantage of such manufacturers is lower quality of those products that they manufacture. The necessity to improve quality using various mechanisms confirms the significance of the topic. The peculiarity of the quality management system at the iron and steel enterprise is stipulated mostly by the specific character of production. Its successful functioning allows to manufacture the products of high quality.
